Strawbinati from 3C Farms via @ogcannabiscafe on 2/21/2020. THCa tested out to 26.79%. (Shoutout to @Matt_3cfarms and @Hustlestrees for making it happen) This was gifted to me but it goes for $35 at 3C’s medical shop in DTLA . Strawbinati is another offering from 3C’s cleverly named conspiracy themed strain line up. These sprawling delicate buds are mix of chartreuse and lime with forest green accents, dark brownish red pistils and multitudes of tall yellowing triches that give the surface a hazy glow.

The nose out of the jar hit me like an old spice cabinet. It’s very musty and comes off like a mix of pepper, bay leaf, and a bit of oregano that’ve been sitting undisturbed for quite some time. When busting open a nug a sweet fruit emerges with a touch of mint pushing the mustiness to the background. Breaking it down by hand the strawberry scent makes itself known, it crumbles easily, and comes with a sweet fruit scent rounding out into a metallic musty finish. The dry pull on the joint is mostly a sugar sweet fruit with a touch of mint and herb. The inhale is smooth and on the joint I get a muted toasted marshmallow as where on the bong it’s nondescript mostly. The exhale from the joint and bong has a mild peppery spice with a hint of sweetness but I feel like it’s more muted on the later. Cross checking the flavors on my MV1 from Ghost Vapes, at 170 I get a sweet floral with pine and a touch of mint as where at 185c it’s mostly an earthy floral and at 200c it’s also floral but more generalized in the since that it just tastes like vaped weed. The headchange comes on quick but is a gentle thwack as opposed to solid smack. It’s fairly mild in effect but it has a strong motivation sapping factor that doesn’t make you feel like doing much outside of watching some youtube videos or maybe chatting it up with friends via Zoom. While it looks absolutely fantastic and is no doubt well cultivated I probably wouldn’t cop it again as it just wasn’t for me, however if you’re fan of Strawberry Cough or 3C’s Strawberry Fields I think you’ll like it and you should definitely give it a shot.
