Sweet Thang from The Cure Company

Sweet Thang from The Cure Company via City Compassionate Caregivers on 1/6/2020. THC tested out to 28.06%. This sample was gifted to me but it goes for $30-35 plus tax on the CCC Menu typically. When I was at Secret Sesh back in December, Sweet Thang got my attention on name alone, so I was stoked to find it in my sample pack. Huge shoutout once again to @freshpen23 for making it happen! These semi dense nugs are mostly a light lime green with forest green lilts, orange cream pistils and a plentiful coating of shimmering triches.

The nose out of the jar is a deep musty fruit accompanied by a fresh minty floral element that lingers in the background along with hints of pine. On busting open a bud, the pine rushes to the foreground and brings with it this powerful cleaner-esque scent that gives it a fume like quality while pushing that sweet fruit and floral smell back a bit. When breaking it down by hand you get a good sense of stickiness from the bud. A fresh sweet fruit emerges to take center stage aided by a hint of mint giving the scent a gushers and gum like vibe. When dry pulling the jay I pick up on a very unique sweet and rich smokey fruit taste that lingers on the tongue for a moment. While the inhale was smooth it was surprisingly nondescript for taste on both the joint and the bong but on the latter I noticed a slightly acidic zing. On the exhale, I pick up on a sweet fresh fruit that widens out into a smokey finish from the joint, while on the bong it’s a much more floral experience that morphs into an unfrosted fruit danish aftertaste. Cross checking the flavor on my MV1 from @ghostvapesofficial I get extremely floral notes with a cool minty finish. The headchange comes on quick and has a nice thwap but doesn’t leave you incapacitated by any means. I started leaning on it as my go to wake and bake as I was out of sativas and Sweet Thang served as a fantastic substitute. It has a Swiss Army Knife like utility in the sense that it will function well in a variety of uses whether it’s writing your next screen play, going out on hike, busting through a few rounds of multiplayer in Call of Duty, or just kicking back and watching a movie. It’s great for pretty much every use except for putting you to sleep, but if you smoke enough, I’m sure it could do that for you too. For the ticket it goes for at CCC I can see myself picking this up again with little hesitation. Excellent work once again to the crew down at Cure Company!
